The “Valblocs”

Monetary system of the Kingdom of Valdris

Concept de gratifications des compétences participatives

Concept of rewards for participatory skills

GamiPress

This system is built on three building blocks

Point types: unlimited point wallets,

Achievement types: badges / missions / certificates structured in stages,

Rank types: progressive hierarchical levels.

1) Valblocs = points

They make it possible to measure and reward contribution, fund certain benefits, build prestige, and support the community economy. GamiPress is specifically designed to manage custom point wallets, such as credits, gems, coins, etc.

2) Jobs / missions = achievements

Each job becomes an achievement type or a family of achievements, with native stages (“steps”) to represent progression. GamiPress natively manages achievements and their steps, with configurable events and requirements.

3) Valdris ranks = ranks

The Novice, Builder, Artisan, Landlord, etc. grades must remain levels. GamiPress is designed precisely to manage levels, grades, and progression hierarchies.

The key distinction

A. Achievement
The player has met the measurable conditions of a mission.

B. Promotion
The player is officially moved up to the next tier after human validation by the Council.

This distinction is essential because it protects:

  1. Teaching,
  2. Governance,
  3. Credibility,
  4. The right conceptual model

4-layer architecture.

Layer 1 — Contribution economy

Valblocs / points

Earned through activities, evidence, mutual help, documentation, votes, rituals; visible as a balance, cumulative total, or in histories; potentially convertible or spendable depending on your model.

Layer 2 — Job pathways

Job achievements

For each level, three missions must be completed—one for each job.

Conceptual example:

  • Novice rank → 3 initiation missions
  • Builder rank → 3 intermediate missions
  • Artisan rank → 3 advanced missions

Each mission is an achievement.

Each mission can include steps:

  • publish evidence,
  • take part in an action,
  • finish a build site,
  • receive validation,
  • contribute to a discussion.

Layer 3 — Promotion eligibility

Meta achievement or internal “eligible” status

When the 3 missions for the rank are completed, the player becomes:

eligible for the Council,
but not yet promoted.

In other words:

automatic achievement possible; promotion not automatic.

Layer 4 — Governance

Manual promotion to the next rank.

The Council approves or rejects the rank-up.

GamiPress lets you manually award achievements and manually set a rank from the user dashboard.
